Singer Ditches the Prank and Says “Qubool Hai” For Real This Time
Popular Pakistani singer Hasan Raheem, known for his soulful tracks like Joona and Aisay Kaisay, has officially tied the knot—and this time, it’s not a drill. After confusing fans earlier this year with a staged wedding post that turned out to be a music video shoot, the singer has finally walked down the aisle for real, much to the delight of his followers.
While Raheem himself has yet to release an official statement, photos and videos from the wedding have been widely shared on social media and confirmed by multiple entertainment outlets. This time, the celebrations were genuine, intimate, and steeped in cultural heritage, painting a picture of a private yet meaningful ceremony attended by close family and friends.
Traditional Elegance Meets Intimacy in Bhurban Ceremony
The wedding reportedly took place at the Pearl Continental Hotel in Bhurban, nestled in the serene hills of northern Pakistan. The venue was decorated with a blend of modern elegance and traditional aesthetics, reflecting the couple’s cultural roots. The ceremony, held in a beautifully lit outdoor garden at night, exuded warmth and closeness, far from the glitz of typical celebrity weddings.
Hasan Raheem wore a traditional white shalwar kameez, paired with a matching waistcoat and shawl (shuqa). He completed the look with a parxin — a traditional Chitrali cap adorned with a peacock feather, a staple in the cultural attire of Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral. His bride, reportedly a close family relative (possibly his cousin), stunned in a pastel blue embroidered lehenga, featuring ornate detailing and subtle elegance.
The wedding décor, managed by event designers like Decor Edit, added a rustic, traditional charm to the celebration. Mehndi artists shared glimpses of intricate designs applied to the bride, whom they fondly referred to as Raheem’s “Rapunzel,” and noted that the patterns were specially crafted for both the nikkah and mehndi ceremonies.
Music, Celebrities, and Pure Vibes
What’s a Hasan Raheem wedding without music? The singer didn’t just attend his own mehndi — he performed. A video shared by fellow musician Salman Paras showed Raheem vibing to Paras’ track Karay Karay as guests clapped along. Another moment captured by the band Guftaar featured Raheem singing along to his own song Aisay Kaisay during the celebrations.
Adding to the charm, the music group Shaam-e-Mastana shared a collection of clips and photos showing the singer dancing and singing with guests. The intimate yet lively mehndi night saw appearances from several industry friends and celebrities, including Ahmed Ali Akbar, Momina Mustehsan, Uzair Jaswal, Umair, Taha G, and Ameer Gilani.
From Fake Wedding Post to Real-Life Celebration
This real-life wedding comes just months after Hasan Raheem jokingly posted an image of himself dressed as a groom with a bride by his side. That post, shared in April, led to widespread speculation—until the singer clarified that the image was from a music video shoot. “Abhi bhi kunwara hoon,” he told fans at the time, poking fun at the confusion.
Now, however, the evidence speaks for itself. The attire, the setup, the celebrations — and the absence of a music camera crew — all point toward a genuine, heartfelt union.
Though Raheem has yet to make a formal announcement, fans have flooded social media with congratulatory messages, celebrating this new chapter in the singer’s life.
