In a heartwarming update from the cricketing world, Pakistani fast bowler Haris Rauf and his wife, Muzna Masood Malik, have embraced parenthood with the arrival of their first child, a baby boy. The news has brought immense joy to their fans and well-wishers, marking a new chapter in the couple’s life.
Although Haris Rauf has yet to officially announce the news, fellow cricketers Shaheen Shah Afridi and all-rounder Shadab Khan shared their heartfelt congratulations via Instagram.
Taking to his Instagram story, Shadab expressed his best wishes, writing, “Congratulations to [Haris Rauf] and family on the birth of his first child! Wishing health, happiness, and prosperity for the little one and the family. May Allah bless you.”

Similarly, Afridi also extended his congratulations on social media, posting, “Wishing you and your family endless joy and happiness on the birth of your baby boy.”

The couple’s journey together began when Haris Rauf married Muzna, his classmate and a well-known model, in December 2022. Their intimate wedding ceremony in Islamabad was attended by close friends and family members, making it a cherished occasion. Since then, the couple has been admired for their strong bond and support for one another.
Haris Rauf’s rise in international cricket has been nothing short of remarkable. Starting his journey with tape-ball cricket, he worked tirelessly to make a name for himself.
His big break came when he was picked by Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Lahore Qalandars, who recognized his raw talent and potential. The Qalandars invested in Rauf’s development, sending him to Australia for advanced training, which significantly polished his skills.
His impressive performances earned him a spot in the Big Bash League (BBL), where he played for the Melbourne Stars. His rapid pace and ability to bowl lethal deliveries caught the attention of cricket selectors, leading to his international debut in T20Is for Pakistan in 2020. Since then, Haris has established himself as a key fast bowler for the national team.
So far, Rauf has represented Pakistan in 48 One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and 79 T20 Internationals (T20Is), taking 85 and 110 wickets in the formats, respectively. His contributions to Pakistan cricket have been significant, and he continues to be a vital part of the squad.
As Haris Rauf steps into this new phase of life as a father, fans and fellow cricketers alike are showering him and Muzna with blessings and best wishes. The arrival of their son is a joyous milestone, and supporters eagerly await an official announcement from the cricketer himself.
