Flight Operations Timeline
The Hajj flights from Pakistan are expected to begin on April 18, operating from May 21. The flights are for the Hajj of 2026 under the government scheme.
Departure Cities and Airlines
The Hajj flights will depart from Karachi, Lahore, Sialkot, and Multan cities of Pakistan. This was revealed by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony by sharing the schedule for the Hajj flights. As per the official Hajj scheme, a total of 468 flights will be used to carry pilgrims from Pakistan to the holy destinations.
Madinah and Jeddah Flight Phases
During the course of the first 15 days, the flights will be exclusively for Madinah. A total of 186 flights have been scheduled for the holy city. Around 282 flights have been scheduled for Jeddah. The Hajj flights for Jeddah are scheduled to take off from May 4.
Pilgrim Quota Details
Furthermore, a total of 119,000 pilgrims from Pakistan are to be flown to Madinah and Makkah under the official Hajj scheme. Out of the above-mentioned total number, 67,230 male pilgrims are to be flown to Saudi Arabia under the government scheme. In addition, 51,846 female pilgrims from Pakistan are also to be flown to the holy sites under the above-mentioned scheme.
City-wise Flight Distribution
Besides, the Hajj flights from Pakistan are to take off from eight different cities. Islamabad is to have 129 flights. Karachi is to have 124 flights, while Lahore is to have 104 flights. Quetta is to have 18 flights, while Multan is to have 34 flights. Sialkot is also to have 26 flights, while Faisalabad is to have 23 flights. Sukkur is to have five flights carrying pilgrims to Saudi Arabia.
