Supermodel and entrepreneur Hailey Baldwin Bieber has opened up about how a quote from Ariana Grande helped her deal with the relentless criticism and negativity she faces online.
In a recent magazine cover interview, the 28-year-old wife of Canadian pop star Justin Bieber said she often turns to Grande’s words for strength amid social media backlash, much of which intensified after her relationship with Bieber became public.
“It really resonated with me when she [Ariana] said, ‘I’m in a space where I just don’t accept it. I don’t allow it anymore,’” Hailey shared. “We don’t have to welcome that negativity into our space if we don’t want to.”
Grande herself has faced intense public scrutiny, particularly over her appearance during the filming of Wicked, which sparked a wave of online commentary.
Hailey also addressed persistent rumors about trouble in her marriage to Justin Bieber, brushing them off as unfounded.
“It’s not real,” she said firmly. “What is real is waking up every day to my beautiful family, my son, and the people who love and know me. That’s my actual life.”
Hailey and Justin, who tied the knot in 2018, became parents last August with the birth of their son, Jack Blues.
Reflecting on the disconnect between her personal reality and public perception, the Rhode skincare founder admitted, “To see people say, ‘They’re divorcing,’ or ‘They’re unhappy,’—it messes with your head. I can’t even begin to explain it. It’s a crazy life to live.”
Despite the noise, Hailey emphasized the importance of protecting her peace and focusing on what truly matters: her family, her friends, and her truth.
