ISLAMABAD: Showbiz star Ghana Ali has bid an emotional farewell to her beloved character, Zara, just hours after the final episode of the popular drama serial Naqaab aired on Sunday.
Celebrating the success of the show, Ghana took to her official Instagram account to share a heartfelt note, along with behind-the-scenes (BTS) photos and videos from the set, featuring fellow cast and crew members.
“Finally, Zara got justice and someone who truly loves her… what a journey!” she wrote. “Naqaab felt like a vacation that ended too soon. Saying goodbye was bittersweet.”
Reflecting on her connection with the role, she added, “Zara’s character was like a baby to me. I hope you all enjoyed watching her as much as I enjoyed bringing her to life.”
She also expressed gratitude for the overwhelming love from fans. “Thank you for the edits, the support, and all the love. We, as a team, are truly grateful for the incredible response.”

In Naqaab, Ghana Ali portrayed Zara, the wife of Taimoor (played by Humayoun Ashraf), in a cast led by Hina Tariq and Ali Ansari. The drama also featured Javed Jamal, Sadaf Siddiqui, Sajjid Shah, Ammara Malik, Ahmed Rafique, Huma Tahir, Rehan Saeed, and Hurriya Mansoor in supporting roles.
The serial was penned by Shafia Khan and directed by Syed Jari Khushnood Naqvi, earning widespread acclaim as a daily hit.
