The Chief Minister of KP expresses readiness to meet the Prime Minister to discuss interprovincial matters in the interest of the province.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Chief Minister, Ali Amin Gandapur, has announced that 8,500 households will receive Rs10,000 each during the holy month of Ramadan. Following a meeting with PTI Founder Imran Khan at Adiala Jail, Gandapur shared his sentiments about his leader’s unwavering commitment and emphasized the importance of seeking justice in the nation.
Emphasizing that “no one has the right to steal people’s mandate,” Gandapur highlighted the situation, adding that Imran Khan will be released from jail shortly.
He further stated, “We will establish a system to ensure that no one violates the Constitution, thus safeguarding the future generations.”
The Chief Minister emphasized his proposal for the Chief Justice of Pakistan to establish a judicial commission to investigate the May 9 violence incidents, using CCTV footage to identify those responsible. Gandapur asserted that their primary concern is the welfare of women in jails and clarified that their political endeavors were not aimed at forming governments, but rather, they believe the federal government has misappropriated the people’s mandate.
The Chief Minister declared that attending the swearing-in event of someone who allegedly misused the mandate would be a violation of the Constitution. He clarified that he harbors no personal animosity towards anyone.
Emphasizing his intentions, he stated that he would meet the Prime Minister to address provincial concerns, focusing on interprovincial matters rather than the mandate theft allegations.
Regarding the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet, he said he had consulted PTI Founder Imran Khan. “The entire record is in front of the nation. You can see for yourself the difference in the economic conditions between our government and theirs,” he maintained. The Chief Minister proceeded to announce financial assistance of Rs10,000 per household for a total of 8,500 families during the holy month of Ramadan. He also declared plans for protests in Peshawar on Sunday. He passionately stated that he secured votes for the rights of the province and would go to any length to protect them.
Furthermore, he expressed that he considered women from all parties as his sisters. During a parliamentary party meeting, he was unaware of the harassment incident involving a PML-N MPA in the KP Assembly.
Upon learning about the situation, he reached the assembly and found that the incident had already occurred. Consequently, he offered an apology to the affected PML-N lawmaker.
