Gunmen Ambush Vehicle, Kill Muneer Sadhana
Initial reports reveal that former bar president Muneer Sadhana had just left his home when two armed men on a motorcycle intercepted his vehicle. They opened fire repeatedly, killing Sadhana and his driver on the spot.
Two pedestrians were also hit by the gunfire. One of them succumbed to injuries in the hospital, while the other is receiving treatment at the District Headquarters Hospital.
Police officials stated that the attack appears to be linked to an old enmity, though investigations are still underway. District Police Officer Bilal Iftikhar Kayani assured that the suspects will be arrested soon and held accountable.
The incident has triggered strong outrage within the legal community, with lawyers demanding swift action and greater security measures.
Sadhana Recently Appointed to PFF Role
Media reports indicate that FIFA had recently appointed Muneer Sadhana as the acting chairman of the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Normalisation Committee following Hamza Khan’s departure. His sudden killing has shocked both the legal and sports communities.
