QUETTA: A tragic incident in the Washak area of Quetta resulted in the deaths of five people when three oil-laden vehicles collided, causing a deadly fire. The collision occurred in the Patuk area of Basima, with the victims, hailing from Mastung and Quetta, succumbing to the flames. The bodies have been transferred to the Civil Hospital for identification.
In a separate incident, a school van collided with a tractor trolley in the Pir Mahal tehsil of Toba Tek Singh, resulting in the deaths of four children and injuries to ten others. The collision took place on the Shorkot road near the motorway bridge. Rescue teams have transferred the victims to THQ Hospital, while the driver of the van fled the scene.
Earlier, three people lost their lives when a car collided with a motorcycle near Gadani Mor in Hub, Balochistan. The crash, involving a vehicle carrying Iranian petrol, sparked a fire that killed all three individuals on the spot.
