ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue has sent a notice to renowned singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan for the recovery of Rs43 million tax money.
The FBR officials have discovered secret bank accounts of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan carrying over Rs60 million bank balance.

Thus, FBR has imposed a tax of Rs43 million on Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and has given him a month’s time to pay, Samaa TV reported today.

The FBR discovered that singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan holds several secret accounts, nonetheless, he claimed that he only holds accounts in just two banks.

According to FBR sources, the Investigation and Land Revenue traced over Rs60 million lying in Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s secret bank accounts.
The Federal Board of Revenue, however, did not announce the names of the banks having secret accounts of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.
