Fatima Sana to lead the team; three-match T20I series to be played in Dublin from August 6 to 10.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday unveiled a 15-member squad for the upcoming women’s T20I series against Ireland, marking a significant moment for young batting talent Eyman Fatima, who has earned her maiden senior team call-up. The 22-year-old right-hander was rewarded for her standout performance in the National Women’s T20 Tournament held in Karachi earlier this year, where she amassed 287 runs in eight matches at a powerful strike rate of 155.14.
Eyman also represented Pakistan in the inaugural ICC Women’s U19 T20 World Cup in 2023 and is now poised to make her mark on the senior stage. The selection comes after a 24-player Women’s Skills Camp in Karachi, which will wrap up on July 27. The selected squad will undergo a final pre-series training camp before flying to Ireland for the three-match T20I series.
