The victory of the Republican candidate Donald Trump is an outcome of the Gaza genocide which enraged most Americans, particularly Muslims. During the election campaign, Muslim leaders already told Trump that they would vote and support him for the Presidential election because they (the Muslims) would not vote for Kamala Harris as the Democratic government supported bloodshed in Gaza.
The US provided financial and weaponry support to Israel to kill as many Palestinians as possible. Biden administration also influenced some of the NATO countries to extend support to Israel. They also funded Ukraine’s war by giving billions of dollars and deadly weapons to Zelensky’s government.
Meanwhile, during the campaign, Trump also disliked genocide in Gaza and he stated that he would not encourage it after becoming the President of the United States. Trump also stated that he would end the Ukraine war in a single day.
A big upset for Israel
Donald Trump’s victory is being seen as a big upset for Israel. Israeli leaders were fearing that the victory of Trump will put an end to the US financial and military aid to Israel, leaving it with no other choice but to agree to a ceasefire.
As Trump has secured more than 277 electoral votes against the requirement of at least 270, he is expected to come up to the expectations of a vast majority of Americans especially Muslims who want to see an end to genocide in Gaza.
