ISLAMABAD: Iftikhar Thakur is a renowned comedian in Pakistan and an actor as well who has lifted the image of Pakistan far beyond its borders.
Whether it is on stage, TV show, or movie, Thakur has mesmerized his fans and viewers.
These days, Iftikhar Thakur is performing a key role in “Gup Shab”, a comedy show being aired on Samaa TV.

Unfortunately, some social media posts are appearing on the X platform (ex-Twitter), wherein the prime target of the posts is to defame the military establishment, Pakistan Muslim League (N), and other opponents of PTI.
Nonetheless, the account on X with the name of Iftkhar Thakar @Thakar_01 carries 19.3K followers and shared 5,681 posts, so far.
The account was created in 2014 and since then it has been functioning without any interruption either from FIA or any other security agency in Pakistan.
The user of this account is not using accurate spellings of the name of Iftikhar Thakur obviously to avoid legal action, but to continue its motto of spreading hate through social media.
The social media account of Iftikhar Thakur never spares any chance of defaming the establishment, and PTI’s rival parties. But it does not shares any post against PTI.
Hence, it is loud and clear that the ultimate target of Iftikhar Thakur is to hit the military establishment hard and also defame PML-N, etc.
Notably, the famous comedian Iftikhar Thakur has disowned the social media account on X platform (ex-Twitter).
In his recent interview, Thakur said that he had repeatedly lodged a complaint with the FIA against his fake account on Twitter (X). He also pointed out that when FIA bans that account, another account appears on X network with his name.
He, therefore, urged the Federal Investigation Agency to look into this problem as he was not only facing embarrassment but his fans were also confused about the controversial posts on social media.
On Oct 30, the account shared a video of famous TV host and analyst Aftab Iqbal, who too has straightened all his guns towards the establishment after regime change. He has taken a clear side with the PTI and Imran Khan.
