Roma Michael, a model and actress from Lahore, has made history as the first Pakistani participant in the Miss Grand International 2024 pageant.
Roma, who holds a BTech degree from the University of South Asia, is also a social media influencer with over 72,500 followers. She has built a notable career in the entertainment industry, appearing in popular drama serials like Tu Zindagi Hai and Pyari Nimmo, and films such as Kahey Dil Jidher and Delhi Gate. Roma has been featured in prominent fashion campaigns for leading Pakistani brands and has appeared in numerous TV commercials.
In 2023, Roma represented Pakistan at the international Miss Charm pageant and participated in major events like Cannes Fashion Week and Dubai Fashion Week. Her selection for Miss Grand International marks another significant achievement.
Miss Grand International is a renowned beauty pageant known for its focus on entertainment, beauty, and creativity. The pageant has a substantial social media following of over 5.5 million. The winner will be awarded the “Golden Crown,” crafted from gold and brass and adorned with diamonds and emeralds, during the grand finale on October 25 in Cambodia and Thailand.
Countries competing in the pageant include Myanmar, Canada, Brazil, Australia, Argentina, Belgium, Chile, Denmark, France, and many others.
