After almost seven years, Pakistani actor Rida Isfahani finally discusses her widely shared videos that were leaked.
One of the most well-known actors in the drama industry at the time, Pakistani actor Rida Isfahani, shocked her fans in 2016 when an “unclothed” video of her went viral.
The actor revealed that it was the hardest time for her and her family in a podcast she recorded on Sunday and posted to the popular comedian Nadir Ali’s YouTube channel.
When Ali questioned her about the traumatic event, she responded, “This is the first time she has brought it up in seven years.”
She claimed that one of her closest friends, who was also her DOP and fiance at the time, had leaked it. She claimed that he betrayed her trust by posting her private video online.
The Dehleez actor claimed, “He leaked my videos after three years of our engagement. I was urged to hold a press conference, but I chose not to because it was his doing.
Isfahani added that she was removed from projects as a result of the controversy.
The actor added, “Because I was illiterate at the time, I contacted him (her ex-fiance) through agencies after the controversy. His behaviour was poor, and I still feel ashamed in front of my loved ones who, despite this tragedy, never judged me.
She claimed that she doesn’t give a damn what people think of her and that the only guilt she feels is that her family and loved ones suffered as a result of the incident.
She said in a tearful voice, “This is my tragedy, and it will go to my grave with me.”
In 2008, Rida Isfahani began her career in Pakistani drama. The actress is primarily recognised for her roles in daily soap operas.
Dehleez, Shehryar Shehzadi, Chor Darwazay, Meri Saheli Meri Bhabi, Kitni Girhen Baqi Hain, and Pul Siraat are a few of her well-known dramas.
