Bollywood is now all about remaking old classic songs, and remixes that frequently disappoint fans.
If you’re still not over Bollywood’s cover version of Abrar-ul-‘Nach Haq’s Punjaban,’ we’re sorry to inform you that they’ve done it again.
This time, Nazia Hassan’s iconic song ‘Aap Jaisa Koi’ has been recreated for Ayushmann Khurrana’s upcoming film An Action Hero, and fans are disappointed.
Following Disco Deewane, the enduring song Aap Jaisa Koi by Nazia Hassan has now been recreated in Indian cinema.
The song was featured in the Hindi film Qurbani in 1980, which starred Vinod Khanna, Zeenat Aman, and Feroz Khan.
The video, which featured Khurrana and Malaika Arora, was released on Saturday and featured the two Bollywood stars grooving to Hassan’s 1980s disco hit, which was originally sung for Zeenat Aman’s film Qurbani.
Fans, however, felt that it was “criminal” and “unnecessary” to recreate the heavily auto-tuned newer remixed version.
On Twitter, netizens vented about how the Indian music industry should stop “ruining classics” and instead concentrate on producing new music because the originals are still “unmatched.”

The song quickly gained popularity, and Queen of Pop fans simply questioned Bollywood as to why it was necessary to “remix” the timeless song and ruin it.
