The newest celebrity to enter into branded e-commerce is British supermodel Kate Moss, who on Thursday launched a website called Cosmoss where she sells her own brand of beauty and lifestyle products.
The CosmossbyKateMoss.com website now offers a small selection of vegan-friendly products, such as herbal teabag tins for £20 ($23), face oils containing CBD, an active element in cannabis, for £105, and essential oil-infused perfume for £120.
In “rituals” that “balance body and soul with the natural world and the circadian rhythms,” Moss advises utilising the goods in combination.
Moss had previously involved in personal branding work before Cosmoss.
Vogue magazine reported that Moss, 48, spent two-and-a-half years developing the products for her new brand.
She designed a line of clothing for Topshop, a popular adolescent retailer that had to close its physical locations due to the pandemic, and gave her name to lipsticks by Rimmel.
In 2016, she launched the Kate Moss Agency, a talent agency where she signed her own daughter Lila Moss as well as the children of other celebrities, including Rita Ora and Ella Richards, Keith’s granddaughter.
