Internet sensation Chahat Fateh Ali Khan has announced the launch of a full-scale music and acting academy in the United Kingdom to provide a platform for aspiring artists and entertainers.
Speaking to journalists in London, the singer-turned-actor revealed that what started as a music training initiative has now evolved into a comprehensive academy offering formal acting courses as well.
“The main goal is to give new talent a platform,” Khan said, emphasizing his desire to support emerging performers in honing their craft and gaining exposure.
Located in the UK, the academy will focus not only on acting techniques but also on language training, which Khan considers essential for aspiring actors. “We’ll begin by refining students’ accents,” he explained. “They will be trained in Urdu, English, and Punjabi—the key languages needed to succeed in the industry.”
Khan also plans to leverage his massive social media presence to promote academy graduates. “In the future, I believe major filmmakers will reach out to me directly because I intend to promote my trained singers and actors myself,” he said.
He also shared details about his upcoming feature film, set to release in 50 cinemas across Pakistan by the end of 2025. This will mark his second film, following an earlier production completed two years ago.
“I’ve always been passionate about entertainment,” Khan said. “But it was about ten years ago that I realised this is truly my calling.” He gained widespread popularity through his viral songs and quirky performances on social media platforms, which have attracted both fans and critics.
Addressing criticism from within the entertainment industry, Khan appeared unfazed. “I honestly don’t understand why some singers have issues with me,” he remarked. “I’ve always believed in hard work, and that’s what I’ve consistently delivered over the past decade.”
