Bill Gates finds love again this time with his girlfriend Paula Hurd

Microsoft co-founder and billionaire philanthropist Bill Gates has publicly confirmed his relationship with Paula Hurd, calling her his “serious girlfriend” in a recent interview.

Gates, 69, has largely kept his personal life private since his 2021 divorce from Melinda French Gates. However, he shared that he and Hurd are enjoying their time together.

“I’m lucky to have a serious girlfriend named Paula,” he said. “We’re having fun, going to the Olympics, and doing lots of great things.”

Reflecting on his 27-year marriage to Melinda, Gates acknowledged the challenges of their divorce but expressed no regrets.

“The divorce wasn’t great,” he admitted. “But having those three kids and the work we did together—if I knew it wouldn’t last forever, I’d still do it again.”

Who is Paula Hurd?

Despite their separation, Gates and Melinda continue to co-parent their three children and remain involved in family gatherings. “Melinda and I still see each other—we have three kids and two grandchildren, so there are family events. The kids are doing well. They have good values,” he noted.

During the interview, Gates also reflected on his upbringing and the impact of his parents. “This year, I turn 70, Microsoft turns 50, and I wanted to reflect on the incredible luck I had—amazing parents who let me explore, hike, and try new things,” he shared.

Gates’ relationship with Hurd first made headlines in 2022, a year after his divorce. Hurd, a philanthropist and businesswoman, was previously married to Oracle CEO Mark Hurd until his passing in 2019.

As for his current stage in life, Gates said he has moved on. “I’ve put the divorce behind me, and Melinda is doing well. I have a lot of work that I love, so I really can’t complain,” he said.
