Prominent singer and actor Ali Zafar took a stance against the ongoing atrocities in Palestine at the Distinctive International Arab Festival Awards (DIAFA) in Dubai. Following his receipt of the Best Singer award, Zafar utilized his platform to address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
During the prestigious ceremony, which recognized artists from various countries including India, the US, Lebanon, and the UK, Ali Zafar vocalized his concerns about the pressing issue in Palestine. The event, in addition to acknowledging artists’ contributions, presented special awards to noteworthy social figures from around the world.

Accompanied by his wife, Zafar interacted with Bollywood stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, and Aditi Rao Hydari, capturing moments through selfies and engaging in interactions.
In his acceptance speech, Zafar underscored the significance of artists speaking out against the enduring atrocities faced by Palestinians. He emphasized that artists, with their ability to reach a broad audience, bear a moral responsibility as global citizens.
Expressing apprehension about the prolonged suffering in Palestine, Zafar called on the artist community to leverage their platforms and resources to illuminate the dire situation. He stressed that beyond their roles as entertainers, they share a responsibility as humans to advocate against such injustices.
