Pakistani actor and model Fiza Ali has recently found herself in the social media spotlight due to reports of her alleged marriage. However, she has now clarified her relationship status in a recent video statement.
Addressing the rumors, the TV host and actress responded with wit to those spreading false information. “For those worried about my marriage,” Ali wrote in the text accompanying a short video clip uploaded as a reel on her official Instagram page.
After a brief greeting, Ali expressed her dismay over misleading reports suggesting she had tied the knot. “All of you people are extremely worried about my marriage. You’re just eager to marry me off, and some of you may have even arranged dowry for me,” she said, advising those behind such reports to focus on the marriages of their “unmarried sisters” instead of hers.
In the video, Ali promised to reveal the name of her ‘husband-to-be’ whenever she decides to get married. “These ordinary YouTubers and even big TV channels are using my name for cheap popularity and spreading news about my ‘marriage’,” she added.
Ali, who rose to prominence from the PTV classic drama serial “Mehndi,” questioned why she would need to get married wherever she travels for work or vacation. She also addressed the emotional impact of the false reports.
“You guys are tagging me in pictures of my ‘wedding events’ day and night, is that right? Please, stop such antics,” she concluded.
It is worth noting that Ali was previously married to Fawad Farooq in 2007, but the couple later parted ways. They have a daughter together.
