Some Hollywood actors are leaving the industry in response to Elon Musk’s acquisition of Twitter.
Shonda Rhimes, the creator of “Grey’s Anatomy,” and other members of the entertainment sector claim they will leave the platform now that it is owned by Elon Musk, a self-described “free speech absolutist” who is a self-declaredย “free speech absolutist” who has previously courted controversy with his outspoken and controversial tweets, who has vowed to make significant changes, possibly including lifting the ban on former President Donald Trump.

With more than 1.8 million followers, singer Toni Braxton stated that she was uncomfortable with “hate speech under the veil of free speech.”
โI’m shocked and appalled at some of the ‘free speech’ I’ve seen on this platform since its acquisition. Hate speech under the veil of ‘free speech’ is unacceptable; therefore I am choosing to stay off Twitter as it is no longer a safe space for myself, my sons and other people of colour,โย She posted on Twitter.
KEN OLIN

The Emmy-winning show This Is Us producer Ken Olin had previously declared that he would leave Twitter should Elon Musk’s takeover, which has been rumoured since April, become official.
Olin reportedly “was out” on Friday urging his supporters to “protect our democracy.”
โLet’s keep the faith. Let’s try to be kinder. Let’s look to find peace in the world,โ he posted.

The comedian Josh Gad admitted that he was still unsure of whether to continue using Twitter.
