ISLAMABAD: At least eighteen India-backed terrorists from the group Fitna al-Hindustan were killed in two separate operations in Balochistan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced on Thursday.
According to the ISPR, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Chiltan Mountains area of Quetta district after receiving reports about the presence of terrorists.
During the operation, Pakistani troops engaged the militantsโ positions and, after a fierce exchange of fire, killed fourteen India-sponsored terrorists. The military said the operation was executed with precision and determination to ensure regional security.
Buleda Operation Dismantles Terrorist Hideout
In another IBO in the Buleda area of Kech district, security forces raided a terrorist hideout. The encounter resulted in the killing of four militants. Troops also recovered weapons, explosives, and ammunition from the site.
The ISPR stated that these terrorists were actively involved in several attacks targeting security forces and civilians in the province.
Pakistanโs Counterterrorism Drive Gains Momentum
Following the operations, sanitisation activities are continuing in both regions to clear any remaining India-backed elements. The military emphasised that the campaign aligns with Pakistanโs comprehensive counterterrorism strategy, Azm-e-Istehkam.
Security forces, in collaboration with law enforcement agencies, remain fully committed to eliminating all forms of foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country. The ISPR reiterated that Pakistanโs fight against terror will continue relentlessly until peace and stability are permanently restored.
