Dubai is inviting young innovators to tackle one of the city’s major challenges—traffic congestion—through a newly launched initiative that offers scholarships, mentorship, and financial support.
The program provides funding of up to Dh50,000 (approximately Rs3.8 million) to encourage creative solutions aimed at improving traffic flow and enhancing urban mobility. This initiative is designed to empower young minds by offering the necessary resources to bring their ideas to life.
Hosted by the Changemakers Academy at Expo City Dubai, the program is open to UAE university graduates between the ages of 20 and 30. Participants are encouraged to submit innovative ideas that could help ease traffic congestion and optimize commuting in the city.
Selected applicants will benefit from a comprehensive support system, including access to free workspaces, visa assistance, business licensing, and mentorship from leading global experts. The program aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application, helping participants develop sustainable and technology-driven solutions for Dubai’s traffic issues.
Launched in collaboration with the Dubai Community Development Authority, the initiative reflects the city’s ongoing commitment to fostering innovation and smart urban development. As Dubai continues to expand, finding sustainable and efficient traffic management solutions has become a priority.
Applications for the program are open until March 31, providing aspiring changemakers with the opportunity to contribute to Dubai’s vision of a smarter and more connected future.
