Iconic Attraction Returns with Enhanced Performances
The Dubai Fountain has officially reopened after a five-month closure, thrilling visitors with stunning new performances set against the Burj Khalifa. The reopening show featured a captivating Arabic melody and drew large crowds eager to see the refreshed spectacle.
Mohamed Alabbar, founder of Emaar Properties, said the fountain reflects “the spirit and energy of Dubai,” offering joy and wonder to all.
Upgrades Include New Tech and Daily Show Schedule
The fountain now features cutting-edge technology, refreshed choreography, and enhanced sound and lighting systems. These improvements aim to elevate the audience experience.
Daily evening shows will run every 30 minutes from 6pm to 11pm. Afternoon performances are scheduled at 1pm and 1:30pm (Saturday–Thursday), and 2pm and 2:30pm on Fridays.
Opened in 2009, the Dubai Fountain remains the world’s largest dancing fountain. It can shoot water jets up to 152 meters high, powered by 6,600 lights and 25 color projectors.
A second phase of renovations is planned for Q2 2026.
