On Saturday, dozens of dogs, accompanied by their human companions, paraded through the streets of La Paz, spreading holiday cheer as part of the traditional Christmas celebration.
Dogs of various breeds, including Pekingese, were dressed in festive costumes, adding to the holiday spirit as they walked along the city’s main avenues. Many of the dogs stopped to interact with onlookers, creating a joyful and lively atmosphere.
The parade also featured people of all ages dressed as beloved characters like the Grinch, Santa Claus, gingerbread cookies, angels, and elves, who danced and played music, further enhancing the festive mood in the bustling streets.
Amid the celebration, participants took the opportunity to voice their hopes for peace and the resolution of Bolivia’s ongoing government challenges, making the event a meaningful display of both joy and solidarity.
