ISLAMABAD: The National Cyber Emergency Response Team has issued a cybersecurity alert, warning users of potential hacking threats targeting Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox browsers.
The advisory highlights that cybercriminals may exploit vulnerabilities in these browsers to access sensitive user data and stored information. Both desktop and mobile users are at risk, the team cautioned.
To reduce the threat, the Response Team strongly recommends updating to the latest versions of Chrome and Firefox.
Users are also urged to avoid visiting unverified websites as an added precaution to safeguard their data and enhance cybersecurity.
