Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur reaffirmed on Tuesday that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will continue to strive for “Haqeeqi Azadi” in 2025.
In a media address, CM Gandapur stated, “We are determined to achieve true freedom. Those who have criticized us should be held accountable for their own performance.”
He highlighted the province’s achievements under his leadership, emphasizing that “since I took office as KP CM, I have increased the province’s revenue by 44 percent.”
The Chief Minister also criticized his political opponents, urging the federal government to explain its performance, questioning, “How much revenue have Punjab, Sindh, and Balochistan generated?”
Addressing the role of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Gandapur remarked, “The IMF’s primary focus has been on us, as KP is the only province to meet the required targets. The other provinces, except for KP, are running deficits.”
On the ongoing situation in Kurram, CM Gandapur acknowledged the challenges, stating, “The issues in Kurram can’t be resolved overnight, but I am committed to addressing this situation. We are actively working to maintain law and order there, and talks are underway between the concerned parties.”
Gandapur also continued to criticize political opponents, stating, “We must rid ourselves of those who have stolen the mandate, whether it is us or them in 2025.”
Finally, speaking about PTI founder Imran Khan, Gandapur expressed, “We will be overjoyed when our leader is released from prison.”
