Tel Aviv: Iranian retaliatory missile strikes continues Tuesday as fresh impacts caused destruction to urban infrastructures. However, there was no loss of life reported so far at the time of filing of the reports.
During the last few days, amidst unconfirmed reports of peace initiatives between the United States and Iran, which the Israeli state opposes point blank, there has been no let up in the strikes on urban centers, commercial centers, residential areas, factories, universities as well as industrial infrastructures, across the Iranian and Israeli mainlands.
The analysts believe that the spike in the the strikes on part of both the IAF and CENTOM is centered around doing as much damage to the military and economic capabilities of Iranian state to the point where it has few options on the table to debate with the US. There has been no doubt on that count that the various US administration figures like the POTUS or VPOTUS have been very direct in demanding a virtual capitulation and surrender from the clerical regime now.
They are encouraged on that count by the fact that there seems a quiet disconnect between the auto pilot IRGC command structure and that of the reformist administration, which was enthusiastically seeking dialogue incidentally on the occasion of both the IDF strikes; namely June 13, 2025 and February 28, 2026. Given the fact that Pakistan, Egypt, Turkiye and KSA are actively involved from the US and IDF side and the Pakistani foreign minister is in Beijing to seek what can be called Chinese blessings for the supposed US-Iran deal, the deal if it is still possible, can be a big blow to the radical faction in Iran; and that might lead to the gradual disintegration of the radical order, giving way to the regime change; as illustrated in POTUS words;'” talking to reasonable people in Iran”. Such an eventuality will be a death knell, observers and analysts fear for the structure of the Islamic republic, they caution.
