China has unveiled its Scholarship Program 2025-26, inviting students from Pakistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) to pursue studies and research at Chinese universities.
The program, offered through the Chinese Government Scholarship, is managed by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan, which serves as the nominating agency.

Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Applicants must be Pakistani or AJK nationals. Dual nationality holders are ineligible.
- Health: Candidates must be in good health.
- Educational Qualifications:
- Undergraduate Programs: Intermediate/A-level/FA/FSc (12 years of education); age limit: under 25 years.
- Master’s Programs: Bachelor’s degree (16 years of education); age limit: under 35 years.
- PhD Programs: Master’s degree (MS/MPhil); age limit: under 40 years.
- HAT/USAT Test Scores:
- Undergraduate Applicants: Valid USAT score (obtained on or after December 9, 2023).
- Master’s and PhD Applicants: Valid HAT score (obtained on or after December 9, 2022).
- A minimum score of 50 out of 100 is required.
- Test validity: HAT – 2 years, USAT – 1 year.
Scholarship Benefits
The scholarship covers:
- Tuition Fees: Includes education, administrative costs, health insurance, and student activity expenses.
- Accommodation: Free university dormitory or an accommodation subsidy.
- Monthly Stipend: Provided according to China Government Scholarship policies.

- Register and complete your profile.
- Select the “Learning Opportunities Abroad” category and submit your application.
- Print a copy of the submitted application and sign it.
- China Scholarship Council (CSC) Portal:
- Visit: Campus China or Campus China Official Site.
- Apply under Category A (Agency No. 5861).
Additional Requirements
Applicants must:
- Fulfill all academic, language, and admission requirements of the applied universities.
- Not hold any other scholarships simultaneously.
- Provide a valid HAT or USAT score at the time of application.
Notes
- Applications with incomplete degrees or missing test scores will not be considered.
- The HEC online application portal will close on December 9, 2024, at 4:00 PM PST.
