ISLAMABAD: Students can now check their eligibility for the PM’s Youth Laptop Scheme 2025 as the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has posted the merit list on its portal. Only the students studying in the public sector universities are eligible for this scheme.
According to a spokesperson, an online portal has been launched to assist students in checking their application status. Applicants can now determine whether they have been selected, placed on a waiting list, or deemed ineligible due to academic or administrative shortcomings.
The PM Youth Laptop Scheme 2025 aims to empower students by providing them with laptops to enhance their academic performance and research capabilities. The broader goal is to improve digital literacy and bridge the technological divide in the higher education sector.
To ensure transparency, merit lists have been displayed on campus notice boards, its official website, and social media channels. Additionally, designated Student Focal Persons (SFPs) have been assigned to facilitate communication and support.
Students who believe they have been mistakenly excluded from the merit list are advised to contact their respective focal persons and submit the necessary documents. The deadline for submitting objections is July 4, 2025.
University officials have urged students to verify their status without delay in order to confirm their inclusion or rectify any discrepancies.
The merit list and verification portal are accessible through the HEC’s official website by navigating to the PM Laptop Scheme 2025 section and entering the student’s CNIC or registration number.
The scheme continues to serve as a vital step in promoting digital empowerment and academic excellence among the youth of Pakistan.
