FIR Filed After KIPS Chief Goes Missing From Jauhar Town
Lahore police have registered a case following the alleged abduction of KIPS Education System Chief Executive Officer Abid Wazir Khan. The case was filed on Thursday after his family reported that he had gone missing under suspicious circumstances. Police confirmed that the suspects involved in the incident are currently unidentified.
According to official records, the first information report was registered at Jauhar Town police station. The FIR was lodged on the complaint of Abid Wazir Khanโs brother, Tahir Wazir Khan. Police have invoked Section 365 of the Pakistan Penal Code, which deals with kidnapping or abduction with the intent to secretly and wrongfully confine a person.

FIR Details Describe Last Known Contact and Disturbing Call
In the FIR, the complainant detailed the final known contact with his brother. According to the statement, Abid Wazir Khan had left a corporate office in Lahoreโs Jauhar Town area on Wednesday evening. He was travelling in his personal car at the time.
At around 6:34pm, Abid reportedly called KIPS General Manager Lubna. During the call, he informed her that he was on his way. However, moments later, the situation appeared to change suddenly. Lubna told police that she heard a knock on the car window during the call.
She also heard a voice saying, โYou have caused an accident involving my car.โ Shortly after this exchange, the phone call disconnected abruptly. All subsequent attempts to contact Abid Wazir Khan reportedly failed.
The FIR states that this was the last communication received from him. His mobile phone later became unreachable, raising serious concerns about his safety.
Family Fears for Safety as Police Launch Investigation
In his complaint, Tahir Wazir Khan expressed grave concern for his brotherโs life. He told police that unidentified suspects had kidnapped Abid and that his safety was at serious risk. The FIR clearly mentions the familyโs fear that he is being wrongfully confined.
Police officials said they are treating the case as a high-priority investigation. Multiple teams have been formed to trace Abidโs movements before the incident. CCTV footage from nearby areas is being reviewed to identify any suspicious activity. Call data records are also being analyzed to track the last known location of his phone.
Law enforcement sources said checkpoints and surveillance have been increased in and around Lahore. Police are also coordinating with other agencies to locate the missing executive as soon as possible.
