Vehicle Decorations Soar Ahead of August 14 Celebrations
With Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day fast approaching, a vibrant trend is once again taking over the streets: patriotic car decorations. Across major cities and small towns alike, car owners are proudly transforming their vehicles with green and white themes, showcasing national pride in eye-catching, creative ways.
From full-body flag-themed paint jobs to elaborate adornments with balloons, ribbons, stickers, and flags, vehicles are becoming mobile celebrations of Pakistan’s independence. The movement, already gaining momentum, is expected to peak as August 14, 2025, nears.
Ali Raza, a resident of Islamabad, expressed his excitement:
“I love decorating my car on Independence Day—it’s my way of showing love and respect for Pakistan. This year, I’ve gone all out and had my car painted with the national flag.”
Similarly, Raheel, another enthusiast, shared,
“Decorating my car is more than just a tradition; it’s a celebration of our freedom. It brings people together in the spirit of patriotism.”
Car Decoration Businesses See Record Demand
The rising enthusiasm has created a boom for car decoration businesses across the country. Shops and mobile decorators in cities like Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi are reporting an overwhelming number of bookings.
Qazi Sohail, who runs a car decoration service in Rawalpindi, said:
“We’ve been flooded with requests this year. Our team is working day and night to meet the demand. It’s amazing to see how passionate people are about celebrating Pakistan’s Independence Day.”
He added that the trend is no longer limited to urban centers.
“Even in smaller towns and villages, we’re seeing people get their cars decorated. Whether it’s a simple flag or an elaborate paint job, everyone wants to be part of the celebration.”
As cars roll through the streets decked in patriotic pride, they add to the festive atmosphere that unites the nation each year in honouring its history and independence.
