Carrie Prejean Boller, former Trump administration appointee, has publicly broken with Donald Trump.
She criticized his handling of US foreign policy, particularly regarding the ongoing war with Iran.
Boller declared the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement “dead,” claiming it no longer represents American interests.
Speaking on Piers Morgan Uncensored, she stated that she no longer “recognises our president,” despite previously describing him as a “dear friend.”
Claims of Foreign Influence on US Government
Boller accused Israel of effectively “occupying” the US government.
She cited frequent visits by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as proof of foreign influence on American policy.
“He’s been here almost eight times. This is embarrassing,” Boller said.
She argued that the ongoing conflict with Iran is driven by pressure from Israel, not direct threats to the United States.
She further emphasized that MAGA supporters are increasingly frustrated with Trump’s actions.
“Americans are furious. We don’t recognise President Donald J. Trump anymore,” she added.
Growing Rift in Trump’s Political Base
The criticism reflects a growing divide within Trump’s political support network.
Several allies and former officials have voiced opposition to US involvement in the Iran conflict.
On Tuesday, Joe Kent, former director of the National Counterterrorism Center, resigned in protest.
Kent stated that he could not support the war, citing Israeli influence as the primary reason for US action.
“Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel,” Kent wrote.
Boller’s Departure from White House Role
Boller was removed from the White House Religious Liberty Commission last month.
She had been appointed in May 2025 but was accused of attempting to “hijack” a hearing on anti-Semitism.
Despite this, she maintains she has remained a loyal Trump supporter for almost 20 years.
She stressed that opposition to the Iran war is widespread among grassroots MAGA supporters.
“I talk to MAGA people all day long, every day. The average American is absolutely against this war,” Boller said.
Criticism of America First Agenda
Boller claimed Trump has betrayed his own “America First” agenda.
She argued that military intervention in Iran contradicts the principle of avoiding foreign entanglements.
“We will not vote for one more politician who lies to us,” Boller stated.
She insisted that the US public recognizes the influence of Israel in US foreign policy and is deeply dissatisfied.
Boller concluded by emphasizing that Trump’s actions have alienated conservative supporters and undermined the MAGA movement.
“Trump has betrayed our country and he has betrayed MAGA, and people are livid,” she said.
