ISLAMABAD: A recently captured suicide bomber has made shocking revelations, exposing deep links between the Afghan Taliban and the Fitna Al Khwarij terrorist network. His confessional statement confirms that both groups have been using young Afghan men for terrorist missions inside Pakistan.
According to security sources, the Frontier Corps (FC) Khyber conducted a major intelligence-based operation in South Waziristan, arresting a would-be suicide bomber identified as Naimatullah, son of Musa Jan, a resident of Kandahar province, Afghanistan.
During interrogation, Naimatullah disclosed alarming details about his recruitment and training. He revealed that he was a student at the Johariya Madrassa in Kandahar, where he was persuaded by individuals claiming that “jihad against the Pakistan Army is permissible.”
He further stated that a group of 40 recruits assembled in Khost and infiltrated Pakistan through Chiwar, later reaching Lale Zai in the Barwand area of South Waziristan, where a Taliban training centre was located.
Captured Bomber
Their commander, identified as Umar Hamas, was reportedly in charge of preparing recruits for suicide missions. The bomber said the full suicide training course spanned three months, though he personally underwent only a week of training.
During this period, he was instructed in conducting vehicle-borne and checkpoint suicide attacks targeting Pakistani security forces.
However, Naimatullah said he began questioning the mission when he heard the call to prayer (Azaan) during training and realised that Pakistani soldiers were also Muslims—making such attacks haram (forbidden) under Islamic teachings.
The revelations highlight how the Afghan Taliban continue to indoctrinate and exploit young men through religious manipulation and ideological conditioning, using them as instruments for terrorism against the Pakistan Army.
