CAMBODIA and Pakistan signed a memorandum of understanding on bilateral consultations on Tuesday, paving the way for an official framework for dialogue and cooperation.
Pakistani Ambassador to Cambodia Sardar Zaheer ud din Babar Thaheem and Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Secretary of State Un Kheang inked the agreement following a meeting in Phnom Penh. Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Minister Prak Sokhonn was present as witness.
Ambassador Sardar Zaheer ud din Babar Thaheem said the MoU is an important milestone in the shared commitment to strengthen dialogue, mutual understanding, and cooperation between the two sides.
“Getting to the signing of this MoU sure did take time, but like the saying goes good things take time. Through this MoU, we are establishing a Pakistani Ambassador to Cambodia Sardar Zaheer ud din Babar Thaheem and Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Secretary of State Un Kheang (R) with the MoU on bilateral consultations between Cambodia and Pakistan, on Tuesday.
The signing was witnessed by Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Minister Prak Sokhonn (3-L).
