Kenneyz Group Acquires Major Stake in Karawood, Launches Kenneyz Media City

KARACHI – Kenneyz Group Holdings (KGH) has officially acquired a major stake in Karawood Film City, which will now be known as Kenneyz Media City (KMC). With this acquisition, KGH assumes management control of the studio complex, marking a significant expansion of its footprint in the entertainment and media production industry.

Located on four acres in Korangi, Kenneyz Media City features four fully equipped sound stages, make-up rooms, support facilities, and additional land for outdoor sets and future expansion. By integrating KMC into its portfolio, KGH plans to create powerful synergies between its film and drama production services and its music production arm, Kenneyz Productions.

The company already leads the market in camera rentals and is soon launching a cutting-edge music studio at its Nishat Commercial location. This latest acquisition will serve as a launchpad for new ventures including film lighting services, an expanded Vanity Van fleet, and mobile power solutions for on-location shoots.

Agnes Kenney, CEO of KGH, said, “We look forward to welcoming existing and new clients to experience all that Kenneyz Media City has to offer — a new one-stop shop for cinematographers and all those involved in making magic on screen.”
