Deal for Khan’s release
ISLAMABAD: The PDM leader has claimed that Bushra Bibi is negotiating a deal for the release of the former prime minister through a friendly country of Pakistan.
There are footages of Bushra’s meetings with diplomats. The PDM could have shared the footage if our friendly country would have not involved in dealing. PDM spokesperson Hafiz Hamdullah claimed this on Wednesday.
Hafiz Hamdullah said Imran Khan was trying to negotiate a deal using Bushra Bibi.
โThe person who used to say he would not offer NRO to others is begging for an NRO for himself,โ he said.
He referred to the National Reconciliation Ordinance issued under Musharaff in 2007 to end political impasse in the country.
The PDM leader said Khan had damaged Pakistanโs relations with several countries and he did not deserve leniency.
Imran Khan’s judicial remand extended in cipher case: Deal for Khan’s release underway
Meanwhile, a special court established under the Official Secrets Act has extended the judicial remand of PTI Chairman Imran Khan in the cipher case until September 13. The hearing for this case took place at the Attock Jail on Wednesday.
udge Abual Hasnat Zulqarnain issued the decision concerning the missing cipher. This cipher is a classified state document that Khan had displayed during a political gathering before his removal from office the previous year.

The Attock District Jail hosted the case hearing after receiving approval from the Law Ministry. The security reasons influenced the Interior Ministry to allow hearing of the case in jail.
Khan has been in imprisonment since his conviction on August 5 in the Toshakhana case. The trial court convicted Khan for not properly declaring gifts he had received while holding office.
Despite the Islamabad High Court overturning a lower courtโs decision to imprison PTI chairman for three years along with a fine of Rs100,000 a day earlier, a judgment that would have barred him from participating in upcoming elections, Khan remains incarcerated due to his judicial remand in the cipher case until August 30.
