Renowned Pakistani actress Bushra Ansari has been awarded an Award of Recognition at the UK Parliament for her exceptional contributions to the entertainment industry.
The prestigious event was organized by the British Asian Society and Samara Events UK.
A Proud Moment for Pakistan
Sharing her excitement on Instagram, the legendary Udaari actress expressed her gratitude, posting a picture from the event with the caption, “So happy to receive the honour at British Parliament today! Thank you, God.” The ceremony, hosted by MP Yasmin Qureshi, was attended by prominent figures including MP Afzal Khan, A. Haq, Chairman of the British Asian Society, as well as various community leaders, artists, and admirers.
In her acceptance speech, Bushra Ansari emphasized the importance of Pakistani dramas in promoting the country’s rich culture, traditional attire, and the Urdu language. MP Yasmin Qureshi also praised Ansari, acknowledging her influence as a cultural ambassador: “Bushra Ansari has not only entertained but has also served as a cultural ambassador, inspiring generations and introducing Pakistan’s rich artistic traditions to the world.”
Mahira Khan and Fahad Mustafa Also Honoured
Bushra Ansari now joins fellow stars Mahira Khan and Fahad Mustafa, who have previously received the same award for their significant contributions to Pakistan’s entertainment industry.
This recognition highlights the global influence of Pakistani artists and celebrates their dedication to storytelling and cultural representation.
