Kareena Kapoor addressed recurring curiosity from fans and social media users. Muslims around the world observe fasting during the holy month.
Therefore, many online users have questioned whether Kareena, who is married to actor Saif Ali Khan, also observes fasting _ (keeps roza) or not.
A resurfaced video has brought renewed attention to the topic. In the clip, a reporter asks Kareena whether she fasts during Ramadan.
She, nonetheless, responds candidly, saying, โNo, I am eating 24ร7.โ When the reporter further inquires if she ever keeps a fast, she replies, โNo, not at all. I have never done that in my life.โ Her clear response has since circulated widely across social media platforms.
Marriage and Religious Beliefs
Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan developed a relationship while filming their 2008 movie “Tashan”. Subsequently, they married in a private civil ceremony in Mumbai in October 2012. The couple now has two sons, Taimur and Jeh. They are celebrating festivals from both Hinduism and Islam, including Holi and Diwali.
Importantly, Kareena has not converted to Islam. In a previous interview with journalist Rajeev Masand, Saif Ali Khan also addressed the issue of religious conversion.
Khan stated that he would never ask Kareena to change her religion. He criticized the expectation of conversion in some religious traditions and emphasized that the Special Marriage Act allows couples to marry without altering their faith.
