KARACHI/ISLAMABAD: A second weather system is set to impact Balochistan starting today, bringing rainfall to certain areas and light snowfall over the mountainous regions.
In Sindh, coastal areas are expected to experience partly cloudy skies accompanied by light drizzle.
Weather experts have forecast an unusual snowy weather system likely to affect both Balochistan and Sindh beginning February 24.
According to the Meteorological Department, following yesterday’s rain and snowfall, most parts of the country are expected to experience dry weather today. However, a new westerly system has entered northern Balochistan, raising the likelihood of rain in Chaman and nearby areas.
Dark clouds have already gathered over Chaman and its surrounding regions, signaling the onset of this weather system.
