The Pakistan Army has eliminated seven terrorists in two separate intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Dera Ismail Khan district, as reported by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The first operation took place in Daraban, where security forces, acting on intelligence about the presence of militants, launched an offensive. Four terrorists were neutralized during the engagement as troops successfully targeted their location.
In a separate encounter in the Maddi area, security forces confronted another group of terrorists, leading to the elimination of three more militants.
The ISPR confirmed that weapons and ammunition were recovered from the slain terrorists, who were believed to have been involved in several attacks in the region.
Following the operations, the military has initiated sanitization efforts to clear the area of any remaining threats. The armed forces reaffirmed their commitment to eradicating terrorism from Pakistan, stating that they will continue their operations until the region is fully secured.
