Emotional Journey Through Loss
Pakistani actress and host Amina Malik made a heartfelt appearance on Subh Samaa Ka Sath, where she opened up about the pain of experiencing three miscarriages, including stillbirths at five and seven months, and a third loss in 2020. Speaking to host Madeha Naqvi, Amina described it as the “most painful time” of her life.
She shared that she had one daughter before the losses, and later gave birth to another girl after the tragedies. Following that, she decided not to try for more children, adding that social pressure to conceive again was deeply hurtful. “If anyone tells me to have more kids now, I would slap them,” she said, emphasizing how damaging such comments can be.
Parenting, Mental Health, and Career Plans
Now a mother of two, Amina talked about her parenting approach. She avoids processed food and insists her daughters eat homemade meals, even when guests prefer to order fast food. She also spoke about the values she instills in her children — honesty, simplicity, and mental strength.
On mental health, Amina urged people to seek professional help rather than rely solely on friends and family. “Sharing your problems with the wrong people can make things worse,” she cautioned.
Amina also encouraged fellow actors, especially women, to save money and invest wisely. She revealed her interest in starting a real estate business, indicating a future beyond the entertainment world.
