Another Karachi Matriculation Exam Paper Leaked, Circulating on WhatsApp

Matriculation Exam Paper

The matriculation exams in Karachi have plunged into turmoil following the leakage of the 10th class English paper, which swiftly circulated on WhatsApp groups prior to the exam, casting doubt on the integrity of the examination process in the city.

The situation worsened in Malir, where an unexpected surge of two hundred additional students descended upon the Government Girls’ School, exacerbating delays in commencing the exam.

Consequently, the exam began late, and some students found themselves sitting on the ground to attempt the paper.

Efforts were made to alleviate the challenges faced by students by granting additional time to compensate for the delayed start.

Despite attempts to accommodate the influx of students, the incident has shed light on the deficiencies in managing examination centers.

In response, the Chairman of the Matriculation Board acknowledged the issues encountered at the Malir exam center.

He assured that steps were taken to address the shortage of seating arrangements by providing additional chairs and tables to accommodate the unexpected surge in students.

Nevertheless, the incident has triggered outrage among parents and students, who are dismayed by the compromised integrity of the examination process.

Many are demanding a thorough investigation into the leakage of the English paper and advocating for measures to prevent such incidents from recurring.

The incident highlights the urgent need for robust safeguards to uphold the sanctity of the examination process and ensure fairness for all students.

It underscores the imperative for authorities to implement stringent measures to safeguard against leaks and to enhance the overall management and oversight of examination centers.
