Dubai Police has introduced the latest additions to its renowned supercar patrol fleet: Two exclusive Alfa Romeos.
Unveiled at the Arabian Travel Market, these vehicles, the ‘Stelvio Quadrifoglio’ and ‘Giulia Quadrifoglio,’ are both 100th-anniversary editions.
These cars boast remarkable capabilities, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100kmph in just 3.6 seconds. Brigadier Khalfan Obaid Al Jallaf, Director of the Tourist Police Department, emphasized that these additions bolster Dubai’s global status as a top tourist destination.
“The patrols serve a vital role in aiding tourists and visitors during events and community initiatives, promptly addressing their inquiries and providing essential information, thereby enhancing their overall experience,” stated Brigadier Al Jallaf.
These luxury vehicles were provided as part of Dubai Police’s collaboration with the Gargash Group.
The Stelvio Quadrifoglio from Alfa Romeo, part of their anniversary edition, pays homage to the brand’s storied sports editions, with only 100 units crafted. Sporting high-performance attributes, it hosts a potent 520 HP 2.9 V6 Bi-Turbo engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, delivering an impressive 600 NM torque.
Its 50/50 weight distribution ensures exceptional driving dynamics, capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.6 seconds, showcasing its remarkable speed. The Q4 on-demand four-wheel-drive system guarantees optimal traction, complemented by a lightning-fast gear change of only 150 milliseconds, ensuring seamless power delivery.
Similarly, the Giulia Quadrifoglio stands as a testament to high performance and exceptional features.
Equipped with the same powerful 520 HP 2.9 V6 Bi-Turbo engine and eight-speed automatic transmission, it also boasts 600 NM torque. Its 50/50 weight distribution contributes to exceptional driving dynamics, achieving the same 0 to 100 kmph acceleration in 3.6 seconds.
The Q2 rear-wheel-drive system ensures agile performance, coupled with a rapid gear change of just 150 milliseconds, offering a smooth driving experience.
