FPSC Releases CSS 2023 Exam Results

CSS 2023

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has unveiled the results of the Central Superior Services (CSS) exam 2023.

Out of a staggering 13,800 candidates who appeared for the exam, only 401 managed to pass the written test, reflecting a success rate of merely 2.96%.

Among the successful candidates, FPSC has recommended 210 for appointment to various positions. Adil Riaz clinched the coveted first position, followed by Shaher Bano in second place and Oqasha Abrar Rana securing third place.

Breaking down the gender distribution, 126 male candidates and 84 female candidates emerged successful. These triumphant individuals will soon embark on their designated roles in Grade 17 positions.

This year’s results continue a trend of rigorous competition and low pass rates in the CSS examinations. In the previous year, only 1.85% of candidates out of a pool of over 20,000 managed to secure a passing grade in the CSS 2022 exams.

Similarly, in CSS 2020, the passing percentage for the written examination stood at a meager 1.96%.

The CSS exam, conducted by the FPSC, serves as a gateway for recruitment to various prestigious positions (BS-17) within the Federal Government of Pakistan.

It is renowned for its challenging nature, attracting thousands of aspirants annually who vie for a limited number of coveted positions.

These results underscore the intense competition and the high standards set by the CSS examination, highlighting the dedication and perseverance required to succeed in this fiercely competitive arena.

As candidates embark on their professional journeys, they carry with them the honor of being selected to serve their nation in critical government roles.
