Unveiled at the LEAP conference this year, this initiative heralds a cashless Hajj and Umrah experience, aiming to enhance convenience by reducing fees and taxes. It not only ensures ease but also sets a precedent for future advancements in pilgrimage services, contributing to the Vision 2030 goal of achieving 70% non-cash transactions by 2030.
For Pakistani pilgrims, traditional financial challenges during Hajj, such as managing multiple transactions for visa fees, accommodation, and transportation, will now be streamlined. Utilizing Zindigi Debit cards, all transactions will be effortless and seamless, with a pilot test scheduled during Hajj 2024.
