In a hearing concerning Bahria Town and Revenue Employees Society at the Supreme Court, Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa made significant observations regarding the influence wielded by certain individuals involved in the case.

Moreover, CJP Isa expressed strong disapproval regarding the sale of DHA land under the guise of honoring martyrs, cautioning against exploiting such revered names for personal gain. He urged the authorities not to conceal their actions behind the veil of martyrdom.
The Chief Justice also raised questions about the involvement of Bahria Town employees in a committee formed by the chief minister, hinting at a conflict of interest.
He criticized the lack of transparency in the process, questioning whether proper procedures were followed in soliciting bids and selecting builders for the Revenue Co-operative Society.
The court was informed that the matter had been ongoing since 2004, with Bahria Town allegedly being pre-selected before formalities were completed. CJP Isa inquired about the possibility of an out-of-court settlement, offering a potential resolution for the victims.
The victims’ lawyer argued that they had been offered plots in undesirable locations instead of the agreed-upon spots, expressing willingness to engage in a contract if proper arrangements were made.
