According to a CNN report, during an interview with journalist Don Lemon, Tesla’s CEO discussed his use of ketamine to help manage negative mental states, which he described as not necessarily linked to negative news. He mentioned that this medication assists him in overcoming a negative mindset.
Musk clarified that he uses ketamine in small amounts, approximately once every other week, and has a prescription from a legitimate doctor. He emphasized the importance of maintaining mental sharpness, as he works long hours (16-hour days), and being mentally inactive for an extended period is not feasible for him.
The Tesla CEO mentioned that he abstains from alcohol and is unfamiliar with smoking marijuana. However, when he declared that he is “almost always” sober during late-night publications, he didn’t specify whether he was referring to ketamine or another substance.
Additionally, the billionaire expressed his belief that engaging in drug use would not affect his government contracts or investor relationships.
