The funeral prayers of Lieutenant Colonel Syed Kashif Ali and Captain Muhammad Ahmed Badar were solemnly held at Chaklala Garrison Rawalpindi on Sunday, honoring their ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. The two officers were among the seven soldiers martyred in a terrorist attack in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan district a day earlier.
The ceremony was attended by President Asif Ali Zardari, along with senior government officials, military personnel, and the families of the martyred, as well as local residents, as reported by the Inter-Services Public Relations.
President Zardari, acknowledging the unwavering dedication and valor of the armed forces, stated, “Pakistan Army has consistently upheld the ideals of Faith, Unity, and Discipline.” He commended the soldiers for their professionalism and loyalty in the relentless fight against terrorism.
