Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Emir Sirajul Haq strongly criticized Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari on Thursday, asserting that the public would not easily “forgive” him.
In a vehement attack on the former foreign minister, Haq remarked, “Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari claims he will forgive everyone if he becomes the countryโs premier. However, we have witnessed the changes you brought to Sindh. May a higher power protect us from such transformations.”
Haq expressed optimism about a positive change in Sindh’s fate following the upcoming general elections scheduled for February 8. “Now is the time to bring a revolution into the lives of the masses,” he declared, emphasizing the need for transformative policies.

During a public gathering in Dir on Wednesday, Haq lamented the alarming rise in inflation. Urging the public to vote on February 8 with the future of their children in mind, he took a dig at political opponents, stating, “Those who once touted slogans of Asian Tigers and Tabdeeli have failed to deliver.” Haq highlighted the importance of considering the well-being of the next generation in the voting process.
As the political landscape heats up in Pakistan, Haq positioned himself as a proponent of change, hoping to address the challenges faced by the public, especially in regions like Sindh grappling with socio-economic issues. The upcoming general elections serve as a pivotal moment for Haq and his party to advocate for a new direction in Pakistani politics.
